# Referral Program

> Earn rewards when you invite friends to fees.fun. Get a cut of their trading fees.

## Earn from every referral

fees.fun has a built-in referral program. Create your personal referral code, share it with friends, and earn a percentage of the fees from every trade they make.

## How it works

    1. Open the fees.fun extension popup
    2. Go to your profile or referral section
    3. Choose a custom code (3-16 characters, letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores)
    4. Click **Create**

    Send your referral code to friends, post it in Discord, tweet it — however you want to spread the word.

    When someone signs up for fees.fun, they can apply your referral code in the extension. Once applied, you're linked.

    Every time someone you referred makes a trade, you earn **15% of the fees.fun fee** on that transaction. They trade, you earn. Simple.

## Reward breakdown

| fees.fun charges 0.25%           | 0.025 SOL fee          |
| You earn 15% of that fee         | **0.00375 SOL** to you |

It's not a lot per trade, but if your referrals are active traders, it adds up quickly.

## Applying a referral code

If someone shared a code with you:

    Find the referral section in the popup.

    Type in the referral code you received and click **Apply**.

<Info>You can only apply one referral code, and you can't use your own code. Once applied, it can't be changed.</Info>

## Rules

* Your referral code must be **3-16 characters** — letters, numbers, dashes, and underscores only
* Each user can have **one referral code**
* Each user can be referred by **one person**
* You **can't refer yourself**
* Rewards are earned on **every trade** your referrals make, across all platforms
* Rewards are tracked in real time in the admin dashboard
